I. PRIVACY POLICY
MossCircle operates under a "Local-First" mandate. We believe that intimate health data should never be a commodity. Our systems are built to ensure that we cannot see, access, or store your personal cycles.
Data Residency and Local Processing
MossCircle is a digital logging tool for menstrual health.
On-Device Storage: All personal entries—including period dates, symptoms, mood logs, and physical observations—are stored exclusively within your device's internal storage.
No Synchronization: We do not utilize cloud-based synchronization or external databases to mirror your records. If you switch devices, your data does not follow you unless you perform a manual backup or device migration.
Non-Identifiable Use: You are not required to create an account or provide an email address to use MossCircle.
Third-Party Technical Services
To maintain a stable and modern application, we interact with limited third-party service providers. These platforms handle technical "events" rather than personal "content."
Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for crash diagnostics and performance monitoring. If MossCircle malfunctions, a technical report (e.g., OS version and device model) is generated to help us fix the bug.
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These platforms allow us to understand our marketing reach. They process pseudonymized technical identifiers, such as your device’s Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
Strict Confidentiality: These third parties are contractually prohibited from accessing your health logs or using technical data for any purpose other than supporting MossCircle’s operations.
Legal Grounds for Processing
Our processing of information is governed by the following legal bases:
Contractual Necessity: Processing local inputs is required to provide the tracking and prediction services you have initiated.

Regardless of your location, MossCircle provides you with the following protections and rights:
Right to Information on Sharing: You have the right to know if your data is shared. We only share non-identifiable technical metadata with the operational partners listed in Section 2.
Right to Know About Sales: You have the right to know if your data is being sold. MossCircle does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data to any third party.
Right of Access: You may request access to the data we process. Since health data is local, you can access it directly in your app history. For technical logs, you may contact our DPO.
Right to Rectification: You have the absolute right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data. You can edit, update, or delete your cycle history directly within the app interface at any time.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the deletion of your data. Deleting the MossCircle app from your device immediately and permanently wipes the local health database.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates your rights.
Retention Protocols
Health Data: This data is retained on your device for as long as the application is installed. We do not have a backup of this data; once you delete the app, the data is permanently lost.
Technical Telemetry: Data processed by third-party partners is retained only for the minimum duration required for aggregate performance reporting (typically 12 to 24 months) before being purged.
Choice and Opt-Out Mechanisms
We provide you with the tools to remain invisible to third-party analytics:

II. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

MossCircle grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on a single device for your personal, non-commercial health tracking, subject to the terms of this agreement.
Medical Non-Reliance Disclaimer
MossCircle is NOT a medical device. The predictions and insights provided are based on statistical averages and your personal inputs. They are for informational purposes only and should not be used for contraception, to achieve pregnancy, or as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician for reproductive health decisions.
Prohibited Usage
By using MossCircle, you agree not to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app’s prediction algorithms.
Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the software.
Intellectual Property
The MossCircle name, branding, original content, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive property of the developer. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MossCircle and its creators shall not be liable for any damages (including health-related issues, data loss, or device failure) resulting from your use of the application. The app is provided "AS IS."
Termination
This agreement is effective until terminated by you (by deleting the app) or by us. We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
